The GHI Washington, Max Weber Forum for South Asian Studies, Delhi and Queen’s University, Kingston invite paper proposals for an international workshop on ‘Refugees in Global Transit: Encounters, Knowledge, and Coping Strategies in a Disrupted World, 1930s–50s’ that is being organized in Mumbai from 13-14 February 2025 in collaboration with Erfurt University and our sister institutes OI Istanbul & OI Beirut, brings together scholars with an interdisciplinary and cross-epochal approach and are especially interested in exchange with and among scholars in and/or from the Global South.
